Bryan was born in northern Ohio, lived in suburb of Detroit, MI and moved with his family to Florida in 1985. At the age of 8, Bryan's dad bought him his first set of golf clubs. Bryan was so excited to learn the game and with the help of his grandfather, his instruction through his mid teenage years was by Herman Lang, PGA and Head Professional at prestigious Inverness Country Club in Toledo, Ohio (Herman Lang previously served as assistant golf pro under the great BYRON NELSON).
Bryan was a 3-sport athlete in high-school in Michigan but upon moving to Florida he realized that his passion was playing and competing in junior and high school golf events. Additionally, his early goals in life were to compete/win a state golf championship, live on golf course, own a golf course, and design a golf course. Bryan's transitioned to a new PGA golf instructor, Will Frantz, PGA, upon moving to Florida. Will played in PGA Championships and Senior PGA championships. Will was not only a great instructor, but a great human being and an awesome player. Summary of Bryan's Junior Golf Highlights:
After college, Bryan felt strongly about giving back to his passion.....junior and high school golf. Examples of his golf coaching and leadership experience include:
Bryan believes in developing the complete student-athlete golfer that grow to thoroughly enjoy the game, be highly competitive on the golf course, and act with integrity/honesty/respect. With these goals and the negative impact that COVID had on junior golf and local area player recruitment at college level, Bryan founded UGE Jr. & College Prep Golf Tour.
Bryan is well connected and respected by the golfing community including at the men's and women's collegiate golf level.
He is co-owner of two golf courses, one in Dallas, Texas (SkyCreek Ranch Golf Club) and Heritage Harbour Golf & Eatery in Bradenton, Florida. Bryan is a co-managing member and currently helping HHG&E to develop the golf course into a top Resort level golf course and stay-play destination that will be able to host top-notch and high-profile junior, amateur, and pro golf tournaments.
Bryan's son Logan Veith is also an accomplished junior and high school golfer. As team captain his junior year (2019), Logan led Braden River HS to it's first every Boys District title. Also, Logan qualified as an individual to compete at the Florida State High School State Championship in both 2019 and 2020 (73 and 75 at regionals). Logan finished as Semi-Finalist in the Suncoast Junior Boys Match Play invitational (54 hole event that featured the Top 30 HS boy golfers from Pasco County to Naples). Logan was selected by USA Today to the Suncoast area (tri-County) Boys HS Golf "First-Team" in 2019 and 2020. Logan was the student athlete of the week as awarded by both East County Observer and SNNTV. https://www.yourobserver.com/article/east-county-athlete-of-the-week-logan-veith
Professionally, Bryan was awarded the distinguished honor of ASCE “Fellow” (3% of Civil Engineers in US). https://www.yourobserver.com/article/side-of-ranch-jay-heater-0
He is very committed to giving back to the local community, the engineering profession, fundraising events for local/national charities, and supporting/coaching youth athletics.
Helping juniors to thoroughly enjoy the game of golf and for those that desire to advance to the next level by prep them for College Golf and connecting them to the right resources.
